Our goal was to make a durable and beautiful crankset that is as versatile as possible - compatible with any mountain or fat bike. The arms are 3D printed Titanium so that they will survive impacts, and stand the test of time. The axle is Aluminum so that it can be replaced if necessary due to wear, or to make changes to the chainline / drivetrain. The crank bolts are Titanium to provide a seamless look, but RaceFace/Easton crank bolts can be swapped in an emergency.
The crank arms are available in two model types: an "original" version that is compatible with, and includes a RaceFace/Easton crank axle and male cinch locking, and this "slim" version that uses Rise's own axles (of slightly shorter length) and female lockring that allows a thinner arm shape (pictured with oval chainring). Both forms use the same Rise preload adjuster and our signature Titanium crank bolts (compatible with RaceFace/Easton crank bolts in case of an emergency).
