Grizzly Fat Bike 177
Overview Design Geometry Details Finishes Ordering
A remarkably-agile fat bike in buttery Titanium. We designed the Grizzly to have handling that shines on both snow and dirt, with elegant and purposeful lines. Taking cues from modern trail bike design, we have made the geometry more forward looking than other fat bikes on the market: short chainstays for playfulness, low bb for stability, long reach and steep seat angle for an efficient pedaling position and to keep your weight centered over the bike, and a head angle that balances precise steering with sure-footedness when the trail points down.

Design
The Grizzly's foundation is a wide T47 bottom bracket shell that maximizes rear-end stiffness and tire clearance. The main triangle is made from oversized and shaped 3/2.5 titanium to create a ride that is both lively and precise.
The Grizzly is available with a 177mm or a 197mm rear spacing. On the 177mm frame, the drive-side chainstay is dropped via a 6/4 titanium plate and supporting fin; this creates the clearance for large 4.6" tires and chainrings from 28-32 teeth, despite the industry-leading short rear-center. The 197mm frame has symmetric shaped chainstays (a cleft in the drive side stay is made to accommodate the chainring) and can clear full 4.8" tires on 85mm rims. Both frame designs use the "narrow" Q-factor cranks for fat bikes to maintain pedaling efficiency.

Finishes
We can accommodate a range of finish requests, with various choices for the frame's overall texture, and for the contrasting logos. Our favorite is a bright-brushed frame finish with polished logos. We can also give the frame a satin media-blasted finish with brushed or polished logos. If you like, we can add custom logos to your frame to make it even more unique, and/or combine the finish textures with anodizing to create some color. Let us know what you have in mind and we'll try to make it a reality.
